What the kids do
It is messy in the best way. Every child gets their own waffle to make and a table of toppings to go wild with, all guided by our team so the party stays fun and safe.

Frequently asked questions
What ages is the workshop for?
It works well for children from about 4 upwards. Children aged 4 to 12 take part for €20, teens from 13 pay €27,50, and toddlers up to 3 can join in for free.
Is it safe for children near the hot iron?
Yes. Our team is at every iron to guide each child and handle the hot steps, so the kids get the hands-on fun while we keep an eye on safety.
How many children can come?
We have room for up to 25, and the price per child drops for a bigger party. If it's bigger than that, get in touch and we'll look at how to fit everyone in.
Can parents join in too?
Of course. Grown-ups are welcome to bake alongside the kids at the adult price, or come along to watch and take photos. Just let us know how many adults are baking.
What do the kids take home?
Each child makes and decorates two of their own stroopwafels and takes them home in a Melly's box, along with a recipe card and a certificate, a party favour they made themselves.
One of the children has an allergy, what should we do?
The stroopwafel base contains egg, gluten (wheat), milk and soy, and some toppings add nuts. Please check our allergen guide and tell us about any allergies when you book so we can advise.
Is there a vegan or gluten-free option for the workshop?
No. The workshop always uses the original recipe (egg, wheat, milk, soy), so there isn't a vegan or gluten-free option on the iron for any of the kids. Our vegan and gluten-free stroopwafels are available ready-made in the shop instead.
