The story of Melly’s Stroopwafels
The story of Melly’s Stroopwafels begins in 2003 when Guillermo Mellicovsky opens Melly’s Cookiebar in Amsterdam. The concept of coffee with various delicious cookies becomes popular, and in 2015, Guillermo’s cousin Daniël joins the business to continue the family venture. Four years later, in 2019, Melly’s expands the cookie dream to the building next door with Melly’s Stroopwafels. With Melly’s Stroopwaffels, Daniël integrates his Dutch side with his family’s passion for cookies. At Melly’s Stroopwafels, you’ll find traditional Dutch stroopwafels with a twist; you can choose from one of the fourteen toppings to make your stroopwafel a unique taste experience.
