Is the workshop a good hen party activity?
Yes, it is one of our most popular group bookings. It is hands-on, fun and relaxed, a great way to bring everyone together before lunch, drinks or the rest of the day out.
How many people can join?
We host up to 12 in one session. For a bigger group we run back-to-back sessions on the same day, so everyone gets their turn at the iron. Just tell us your number.
Can men join, or mixed groups?
Of course. The workshop works just as well for bachelor and stag dos or mixed groups as it does for a classic hen party. Everyone makes their own stroopwafels.
How long does it take?
About 45 minutes of hands-on baking, so it fits easily before lunch, a canal cruise or a night out without taking over the whole day.
What does everyone take home?
Everyone makes and decorates two of their own stroopwafels and takes them home in a Melly's gift box, along with a recipe card and a certificate of participation.
Does anything contain allergens?
The stroopwafel base contains egg, gluten (wheat), milk and soy, and some toppings add nuts. Check our allergen guide before you book and let us know about any allergies in the group.
